Kevin Sneed, PharmD, senior associate vice president of °®°®Ö±²¥ Health and dean of the Taneja College of Pharmacy, recently earned the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists Board of Directors’ Award of Excellence.
The award recognizes an individual or group for a recent, singular, nationally significant achievement, or contribution.
Dr. Sneed is being recognized as one of the leading pharmacist voices during the COVID-19 pandemic. He worked tirelessly to address patient concerns, combat misinformation, and overcome vaccine hesitancy, particularly within the African-American community. His leadership during the global health crisis allowed clinicians to meet the evolving need, and equipped patients to make informed health decisions.
