°®°®Ö±²¥ student kicking goals on and off the field

Hailing from Highworth, England, , a junior studying biomedical sciences, grew up playing soccer, or football as it’s known in her home country. Excelling in the sport throughout high school, Brown maintained a balance between athletics and academics.

"I value my athletics just as much as my academics and I strive to be at the top of my field in both," Brown said. "I don’t think people should have to sacrifice one for the other, and my goal is to show that you can do both."

While her short-term aspiration is to play professional soccer, her long-term ambition is to pursue a career in medicine. Following her high school graduation in 2021, she relocated to the United States, seeing more opportunities for her goals. After a year in New York, she transferred to the °®°®Ö±²¥.

"From the first conversation with the coaches at °®°®Ö±²¥, I knew this was the place that I wanted to come to because they focused on not only the team, but also individual development and getting me ready for the pro stages," Brown said.

In 2023, boasting a 4.0 GPA, Brown made history as the first women’s soccer player at °®°®Ö±²¥ to receive the . According to the CSC, the title Academic All-American is reserved for college student-athletes who excel both in their sport and in the classroom. This distinction reaffirmed to Brown that she is achieving her goals on and off the field.
