The goal of creating the new college positions the Tampa Bay region and state of Florida as a national leader in the rapidly evolving fields of artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity and computing. °®°®Ö±²¥ is the first university in Florida and among the first in the nation to announce plans to create a college dedicated to AI and cybersecurity.

°®°®Ö±²¥ Board of Trustees approves financing for new on-campus stadium
The approved plan includes financing for an estimated 35,000-seat facility that is scheduled to open by fall 2026. TheÌýstadiumÌýwill be builtÌýon the east side of the Tampa campus on a site known as Sycamore Fields, providing synergy with the ongoing expansion of the °®°®Ö±²¥ Athletics district.
