Multifactor Authentication
In efforts to increase the security of °®°®Ö±²¥ accounts a multifactor authentication system has been implemented which dramatically improves compared to username and password combinations alone.
Collection of SSN
Florida law provides that public agencies, including °®°®Ö±²¥, must notify individuals of the circumstances that would require the collection and use of social security numbers. Florida Statute 119.071(5) specifically authorizes °®°®Ö±²¥ to collect SSN’s when it is imperative in the performance of its duties. The following are the general scenarios under which °®°®Ö±²¥ will collect and use social security numbers:
